You know you’ve made it when Ecko’s hating on your shit… satchelofgravel is that new new for all of us fashion fiends, aspiring whatevas, and nothin-doin straight up haters who just can’t understand the hype. There’s currently a post about Vancouver’s very own Finale, whose designs have caught my eye, being a downtown cat, and not before i realized one of their designers was on my msn list, and a drunken acquaintance, i put my 2 cents in while sippin on that prune juice *pulls collar*. Anyhoo, i enjoy the blog, there’s a lot of speculation as to who’s running it (Ecko affiliates?) and i think anything that gets people talking is a creative winner. And i’m speaking on both the blog, and the products it’s mocking. To each his own, right? Me and Matt are still friends. Or maybe there’s a streetwear argument-fueled bar brawl in our future, either or.

And FYI, believe it or not, i did not make this little notice here. It came up when i googled images for “Hater”. Couldn’t have done it better myself though.

  1. i don’t hate rap lyric tshirts.. but i um, like rap. so…

    i think there’s more integrity in that than frantically shuffling around for a ghostface tee 13 months ago and now speaking down with smug condescension against rap tees while you have dreams of ed bangerXamerican apparel. that size 28 selvedge is cutting off the circulation to your brain!! (or maybe those are just your testicles. wait.. they do call it “getting brain” tho right? what’s up with that. (also, what is the deal with airplane food?))
