No not really, but i am all about shuffling around the city to this jam. What’s up with the recycled lighting from Usher’s “Yeah” video? And why is “The Dream” dressed like someone that lives in Vancouver? So I went to the Cure last night and it was AMAZING, they honestly played for almost 2 1/2 HOURS including 3 FUCKING ENCORES! The only bad/notable part of the show, which was part of “the four” tour, was that they ditched their 5th member, the keyboardist. Who, if you are a Cure fan, you know is like, SO NECESSARY, even though hearing them replace the synth sounds with electric guitar riffs was interesting to hear… The only songs i can think of that they didnt play were “Catch” which is pretty mellow, and “All I Want” would’ve been sick, but without the synths, damn I can understand the massacre it might’ve been. Anywho, IM SO OVER CAFE CREPE AND THEIR BULLSHIT SERVICE (flies floating in the doubles today, surrrious), if anyone has a dope patio idea on the cheap (NO CAMBIE) holler at a December.

Don’t front too hard on the scene, cause June 7th you will be at the sweatshop gettin’ dirty and wearing possibly even LESS than you will be this Saturday. The 2 week countdown to Summer solstice will be jumping off with my boy Kaboom hosting some craziness at The Sweatshop, where ya boy Kaboom(sorry) will be hosting BLK//PRTY (which i’m assuming is either some prObamaganda, or a name chosen to sway the hip hop set [well shit, it worked!]). In any case, the line up is sick, boasting 7 dj’s to fulfill your hating-ass (read:my hating ass) dance needs, 3 focking live bands, and an ACTUAL bar to boot! Finally a night I won’t be working to spend in my cutoffs on East Hastings at 3am! See you in the hood!
