Happy 2012 everyone. In typical furcoat fashion, I had a fabulous send off to the shittiest year of my life comparable to that of a terribly untalented and famous starlet. I’ve decided to start blogging on my old wordpress account cause a little part of my brain tissue shrivels each time I reblog on Tumblr. I’m better than that.

Resolutions:

start working.

start running.

avoid Policemen.

avoid fighting.

write more.

draw more.

sell obsolete swag to make room for futuristic swag.

continue to illegally download as much as possible.

listen to a new album every day.

So the olympics are kaput, and I can resume walking at a normal speed down robson street without running into people’s faces. It woulda been cool to have gone on that zip line though. I did the Canadian thing and drank a couple pints at a pub in the afternoon and watched THE game, and belted out Oh Canada, twice, and got kissed on the cheek by sweaty older men with excuses, and high fived everyone who sucessfully made eye contact on the Burrard St. bridge.  And then I got home, and napped, sobered up at about 7pm and celebrated the regular Sunday night i’ve missed since the Athletic Themed Nightmare began, cozying up to a new episode of the Life & Times of Tim, which is just about the only thing that i’ve laughed really hard to lately.

Tonight, for the last HOUSE PARTY at the Biltmore with Man tearz and Cam dales, doing special guest dj duty with Rico

Uno and Genie.

Friday we’ll be holding down the back room at Fortune with unlimited glist till midnite so rollout!

and finally we finish on Saturday at homebase the Astoria for EASY NOW’s 5th installment with an EPMD power 1/2 hurrrr!

Responsible for many of the nicest shoes I wish I could afford, the inventive fashion designer Alexander McQueen took his life today. Apparently (via his twitter), he was bummed about his mum’s passing earlier this month. What a shame, hopefully he can rest in peace with her.
